DeviousKitty's Kinky Curiosity: Clothespins

Sometimes it feels like our kinky life began at Northern Exposure 3. It didn't, but that was our first step into the community. Our kinky life has been on fast forward ever since - learning, growing, experimenting, and changing - over this last year.

After Northern Exposure 3, we dived head long into the community by attending local munches, meeting new people, joining Fetlife, attending play parties, making friends, and generally trying to learn as much as we could from many different sources. Now, back to how this relates to clothespins.

So,we each received a clothespin at the Seven Sins closing dinner at Northern Exposure 3. We had no idea why we received clothespins, so we took it home and attached them to a metal bookshelf as a memento of the fun and learning we had at Northern Exposure 3.

We learned exactly just how kinky clothespins could be at our first community play party. We saw some of the kinky uses for clothespins - nipple clamps, clothespin zippers - and we were quite impressed. Now those clothespins from Northern Exposure 3 weren't just fun mementos but kinky toys.

Smacks actually went out and bought a pack of clothespins for kinky experimentation. So far we have tried clothespins as nipple clamps. Smack enjoys flicking and tugging on the clothespins when I am just on the verge of orgasm. I pretty sure I come harder from the surprise, shock and pain that this causes.

Smacks did find another use for clothespins, clamping clothespins to my nostrils then flicking them every time I talk about getting my nose pierced. He finds this highly amusing.
As Smacks says, "There your nose is pierced."
After having my nipples and nostrils clamped, I have decided I would love to have a clothespin zipper attached and ripped off just to experience the sensation. This is where Smacks comes in; Smack buys or makes all the toys we use as he is the toy maker in the family. So I am patiently waiting for my clothespin zipper. I can't say if I am going to love it or hate it until I try it, so it remains a kinky curiosity.

I found this fairly detailed guide on clothespins called How to Use Clothespins. I really enjoyed reading the part about Clamping Tightness (too hard, too soft, just right). Sometimes it's good to be Goldilocks.

The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy by Anne Rice writing as A.N. Roquelaure (Part 2)

After the Fifty Shades of Gray trilogy success blew up the publishing world, Anne Rice's publisher decided to re-release The Sleeping Beauty trilogy.

Available for purchase @ Barnes & Noble or Amazon.

Smacks and I have been involved in the Anchorage Kink Community for a year now. Northern Exposure 4 marked our 1 year anniversary of diving into learning, growing and expanding not only our relationship but our friendships.

To celebrate this anniversary: I have decided to re-read each novel during my Oregon vacation to see if it lives up to the hype of my high school memories and fantasies. I, also, want to see how it compares to the reality of my relationship with Smacks and of the community itself.

I know these novels are pure fantasy; however, these novels helped not only shape my fantasies, desires, curiosities but my initial thoughts about BDSM, Kink, and how master/slave relationships work.

Slave Elizabeth at Northern Exposure 4 challenged everybody to go forth and experience life. I am going forth by looking backwards to challenge my preconceived notions about how BDSM and master/slave relationships work that were in part shaped from my reading of the Sleeping Beauty trilogy.

When I am done my required reading (just like in college), I will post The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy by Anne Rice writing as A.N. Roquelaure (Part 3) - A Review.

Just a quick reminder, I will be on vacation for the first two weeks of July. So, I  can not promise any posts while on vacation as my computer access will be severely limited.

The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy by Anne Rice writing as A.N. Roquelaure (Part 1)

My first experience with BDSM and Kink was through books and reading. I was in high school and I found my mom's Anne Rice writing as A.N. Roquelaure's Sleeping Beauty trilogy.  The three novels of the trilogy are The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, Beauty's Punishment, and Beauty's Release.
The Original Covers from the first time I read the trilogy.
Once I realized what these novels were about, I knew I wasn't supposed to be reading them. But, everything described was so lush, sensual, sexy and kinky, I couldn't help myself.

I was about halfway through The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty when I was discovered. I had been so careful up to that time of making sure I returned the book before my mom came home from work. But, the scene playing out on the page was just so intense and mesmerizing that I lost track of time and was caught red-handed.

I was sure I was in trouble and about to be grounded. My mom picked up the book and said "so you found these; I was hoping you wouldn't."

Me: "So I guess I can't read them anymore."

My Mom: "They are only fantasies. Nothing that happens in these novels happens in real life. And, even if it did, you wouldn't be stupid enough to participate. So go ahead and read them if you want."

Yeah, that's my mom, so encouraging and helpful. But, I didn't care because all I knew is I could keep reading this intoxicating brew of words. After I finished the novels, I immediately re-read each one in more exacting detail. I repeated this cycle many times throughout my high school days.

I knew after reading them that I must find this world and live in it fully. Something that beautiful or sexual must exist, and I would find it. It took me much to long to find it as I was a shy one. But, I am here now, and I am not going anywhere.
